It's been a great week in Ft. Lauderdale at the 101st annual meeting of the Ecological Society of America. As my first ESA experience, there was lots to keep me busy. With two fellow GLEON Fellowship Program members, I helped lead a Tuesday lunch discussion about how to improve team science training in graduate programs. On Thursday, I was glad to share a slice of my dissertation research during an Aquatic Ecology oral session. And I had a great experience throughout the week as part of the Early Career Mentoring Program- thanks to my mentor Kathy Cottingham for great insights and advice.
